ABOUT
Born in 2005 in Tripoli, Lebanon, Majd Khaled is a musicologist and composer dedicated to bridging Middle Eastern musical traditions with contemporary and Western influences. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in General Musicology of Traditions at Antonine University, his work focuses on the preservation and reinterpretation of Lebanese and Middle Eastern heritage through research and composition.
Under the mentorship of esteemed educators such as Elia Koussa and Walid Al Wawi, he has developed a distinct artistic voice that seamlessly merges tradition with innovation. He has also refined his craft through masterclasses with renowned composers, including Naji Hakim and Gabriel Yared, further deepening his understanding of musical synthesis across cultures.
His compositions and research aim to foster a dialogue between the past and present, creating a soundscape where historical depth and modern expression coexist.
